June Tip #4: Does your transcript reflect your potential?

If the answer is “no”, considering enrolling in a summer class either at your local community or four-year college, an online high school or through your local public school district.

While you may not need to make up a class, if you’ve earned a C (some might say B-) or below in an academic course, it may be a good idea to take a college level course in that subject. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not so much about earning a better grade (though that is nice), in fact you can audit a class; instead it’s about challenging yourself and showing colleges you are committed to your academic growth.
